Komme sehr gerne einem Leserwunsch nach und verschiebe das Suchfeld ganz nach oben.

Fast auf den Tag genau ein Jahr nach der Umstellung der Notizen auf das Blogformat sind jetzt alle Einträge hier zu finden. Es ging im Jahr 2001 los und es sammelten sich inzwischen 1.970 Notizen an.

Besucher (Visits): 314.004
Seitenaufrufe (Pageviews): 515.302

Insgesamt gibt es hier im Blogformat 1.426 Notizen und 147 Kommentare.

Die Notizen des Jahres 2003 sind nun ebenfalls hier zu finden. Damit fehlen nur noch zwei Jahrgänge, die nicht im Blogformat sind.

Ziemlich genau 36.000 Besucher hatten die Notizen im Oktober, und ich mache mir jetzt ernsthaft Sorgen, ob ich langsam in Richtung Boulevard abdrifte

Ich fahre jetzt gleich zum Flughafen und fliege nach Ankara, um von dort aus eine Woche lang vor allem die Überreste der Hethiter zu besichtigen. Bin im Oktober auch sonst noch viel unterwegs, so dass es im Oktober weniger regelmäßig neue Notizen geben wird, wie üblich.

Werde mich unterwegs aber via Twitter zu Wort melden. Die Reiseroute: Ankara, Hattusa, Sungurlu, Amasya, Kayseri, Nevsehir, Konya.

Ein Jahrgang mehr wurde inzwischen vom im schicken Retrodesign gehaltenen Archiv hierher ins Blogformat übertragen. Fünf Jahre fehlen noch …

Die Dokumentations- und Forschungsstelle für Literaturkritik der Universität Innsbruck wollte wissen, ob ich etwas dagegen hätte, dass sie meine Notizen elektronisch archivieren. Habe naturgemäß mein Einverständnis erklärt und freue mich darüber, dass neue Publikationsformen ernst genommen werden.

Aus mir völlig unverständlichen Gründen wurde mein Twitter Account “suspended”:

Habe nun, wie vorgeschlagen, einen “Request” abgesetzt, der darauf hinweist, dass das offenbar “wrongly” passiert ist. Eventuell läuft da ein Robot Amok oder es steckt mehr dahinter wie unter Twitter’s Security Meltdown nachzulesen ist. Oder Opus Dei beschäftigt neuerdings Hacker …

Die Notizen hatten im letzten Quartal (März bis Juni) bereinigt exakt 71.435 Visits. Die Umstellung auf das Blogformat war für die Einschaltquote also durchaus lohnend

Habe mich der Massenmigration in Richtung Facebook angeschlossen und dort eine Notizen-Seite als Zweigstelle erstellt. Naturgemäß ein Experiment …

Aus aktuellem Anlass - siehe mein Alias bei Twitter - hier der Notizen-Eintrag vom 16. Januar 2005 als Re-Post:

He argued brillantly against Aristotle’s world-picture and on several important matters in physics he took up positions which are commonly thought not to have been espoused until Galileo’s day. For example, Philoponus attacked Aristotle’s theory that the earth and the heavens are separate realms which need radically different physical principles to explain them. Philoponus denied that stars were eternal and unchangeable and this rejected the whole basis of what was to become standard medieval cosmology.

He carefully demolished Aristotle’s arguments, showing that they did not make sense in themselves and moreover that they contradicted other things which Aristotle had said. Most significantly, Philoponus made extensive use of personal observation and even experiment to support his own physical theories

Jetzt ist es mir doch gelungen, Fotos auf das Facebook-Album zu laden. Dank WLAN in der Lobby des Taschkent Palace. Direkt-Link siehe unten.

Wie angenommen gibt es in Zentralasien kein mobiles Internet, das ich benutzen koennte. Deshalb kann ich weder auf Flickr noch auf Facebook Fotos stellen. Meine Berichterstattung wird sich also weiter auf Twitter beschraenken. Nach meiner Rueckkehr ist dann ein ausfuehrlicher Artikel geplant, der dann auch publiziert wird.

Die nächsten drei Wochen werde ich in Turkmenistan, Usbekistan, Kirgisistan, Tadschikistan und Kasachstan unterwegs sein (ca. 2500 km Fahrstrecke ohne die beiden Flüge). Reguläre neue Notizen wird es in dieser Zeit nicht geben.

Allerdings plane ich, von unterwegs ab und zu Fotos auf Flickr zu posten und mich auch via Twitter zu melden. Immer vorausgesetzt, dass mein BlackBerry ab und zu eine Datenverbindung bekommt bzw. ein Hotspot meinen Weg kreuzt. Das wird aber nicht so einfach werden: “Unsere Netzpartner in Turkmenistan, Usbekistan und Kirgisistan bieten keine Datenservices an.”

Reiseroute:

Insgesamt 24.449 Besucher (bereinigte “Visits”) und 38.602 Seitenaufrufe. Hätte ich das geahnt, hätte ich schon früher auf das Blogformat umgestellt

Hatte gestern testhalber das “Mathe-Widget” deaktiviert, “vermindert Kommentar-Spam, indem dem Absender des Kommentars eine einfache Mathematikaufgabe gestellt wird”, und prompt kamen heute erstmals einige Spamversuche. Nun ist es wieder eingeschaltet.

Auch die Notizen aus dem Jahr 2007 sind nun hier zu finden, entsprechend kategorisiert versteht sich.

Inzwischen ist 2008 komplett ins Blog übertragen. Außerdem alle “Sonderprojekte” seit 2001. Die weiteren Jahre werden nach und nach folgen.
